RV Bio

This silver bullet is a 2005 Winnebago Rialta QD.  My Mother introduced me to this type of RV, and we’ve been stalking them around the country ever since.  We had one or two slip through our fingers, and realized that we’d have to take a leap of faith the next time one came along and probably buy it on the spot.  No sooner had we settled at this notion, then a 2005 QD showed up at our dealer in California with just 1,800 miles on it.  Plus it was decked out.  A rare silver color, all leather seats, and low mileage – it was almost too good to be true.  We made an offer, and won the bid before the unit even made it to the dealer’s website.

Our dealer:  Rialta Heaven

My review:  Very knowledgeable and professional group to work with.  They ensure the unit was “camping ready” and shipped it to us.  They are THE place to go if you are looking for a Rialta.  No doubt.

Once the deal was done, we had to make some quick decisions whether there is anything we wanted to add.  We decided to add an awning and a new TV.  This model has a TV in it, but it is an analog TV, so no longer is supported.  Also, the dealer had to test everything to ensure it all was in working order.  We had to wait a couple of weeks for the installations and diagnostics before the RV would be shipped to us.  During that time, I got this picture:

Leave it white?

Leave it white?

They wanted to know if we wanted to leave this awning “as is” or whether we’d want them to paint it to match the exterior.  Ummm…that’s a no-brainer.  So we had to wait a few more weeks, but the wait was worth it!
